People participate in the NLP Practitioner programme for many different reasons:
- to build your skills to a professional standard to continue your personal development journey
- to discover and share the mental outlook that successful people demonstrate
- to create, with integrity, a toolbox of your own to support your personal and professional goals and dreams
- to understand who you really are, and live the life you were born to live
How is the course delivered?
Our Practitioner programme is the original and thorough full-length training. Unlike some courses which offer so-called "accelerated learning" but then miss out on the richness of hands-on experience, we concentrate on equipping you both with the knowledge and theory of NLP, and also with the practical experience that gives you the confidence to use it when you leave the course.
Flexible options - complete the modules in any order, to suit you.
In keeping with the NLP principle of acting flexibly, we also offer the option to complete the four modules in any sequence, and over any time-scale. To complete the NLP Practitioner, you must attend all four modules. You are also welcome to book each module separately in the timeframe that suits you, and you may complete them in any order. The Diploma/Module 1 costs £600 (£500 plus VAT). Modules 2, 3 and 4 cost £700 (£583.33 plus VAT).

Module 1Module 1 is also the NLP Diploma, which covers the fundamental skills of NLP. The Diploma is also a recognised qualification in its own right. For more details of what is covered, please visit the NLP Diploma page. Participants who already hold the Diploma are entitled to join the Practitioner programme at Module 2.

Module 2You will explore ways of seeing yourself as others see you, working with language to get results for yourself and others, and exploring the workings of the unconscious mind. At all times we will apply the 6 Pillars of NLP, working within an Outcome frame, and paying attention to the Ecology of all that we do.
|
Module 3 |
Module 4 |
You will explore the magic of language to create change within yourself, others and even teams and organisations. You will practise powerful questioning techniques and learn ways of resolving internal conflicts. You will decode the workings of the brain to discover the unique ways in which we process our experience and how these can be changed to get different results.
|
We will discover the unconscious strategies that we use to achieve everything we do, and ways to streamline and improve unhelpful strategies to become as successful as we want to be. We will model success in others wherever we see it, and we will explore the role of beliefs in creating reality.

- Use advanced language patterns to better understand people - and to assist them in clarifying their thinking

- Recognise the precise mental and physical steps (or strategies) that you and others use to create difficulties (and successes) and change these steps when it is appropriate to do so
- Discover how to make your use of NLP a natural and 'seamless' part of how you run your life and how you interact with others
- Continue to make massive strides in your own personal journey, as well as learn strategies that will help you to help others with their own development
- Explore the application of NLP in your life and in your work.
The Practitioner programme is really three programmes in one:
- a personal and professional development experience
- an important and insightful life skills course
- an advanced communication skills training.
Assessment Criteria
The Practitioner programme is assessed against the standards of the International NLP Trainers’ Association (INLPTA). The assessment has three parts:
- Continuous assessment - assessment begins when you say "hello", and does not end until you leave the programme. You will be assessed for your Attitude (to yourself, your learning and to everyone with whom you interact), your Behaviour (what you do and say, and how you do and say it, embodying the Pillars of NLP and the Beliefs of Excellence), and your Content Knowledge (how you apply what you have learnt, and how you learn from practice and feedback).
- Personal project - As part of this assessment you will work on a personal project where you can apply the NLP skills that you are learning. This can be an opportunity to focus on your own personal development, or to apply NLP in your professional context, or both. It would be helpful to think about what you might want to be your project, and to be ready to share this with the group. As you can imagine, you will have plenty of opportunity to refine your project when working with the other participants. Most work on your project will take place between modules, and you will share your project progress at each module. At your final module (whichever module you attend last) you will give a short presentation on your project and your learnings from it.
- Written assessment - on your final module (whichever module you attend last) you will complete a short written assessment consisting of questions covering the entire syllabus. The emphasis is on being able to put what you have learnt into your own words and demonstrating your own integration of your learning.
MODELLINGAll of NLP is based on modelling excellence, and modelling is at the heart of our Practitioner programme. You will experience many different modelling opportunities, both formal and informal, on each module. In fact, every person you interact with can present you with an opportunity to model excellence. Some of the people that we have modelled formally include:
|
LIVE PRACTICEOn each module, you will be practising your skills on one another, so you will benefit from making a list of your personal goals, ambitions, challenges, issues etc. which you could bring to the coaching sessions.
In addition, over the course of the Practitioner programme you will have at least one "client" from outside the group, with real issues that you will be able to help with. There will usually be one or two visitors joining us for various parts of the module, giving you the opportunity to explore many different maps of the world. |
We limit the number of participants in each programme to ensure that each person receives personal supervision from the tutors.
